Adopting a dog in college: good or bad idea?
I have always been raised with a pet, there was constantly a furry buddy running around my house. It makes a house feel like a home to me. Being in college this is something I desperately missed. Being homesick was not something I anticipated, but adjusting to school was so hard for me. The stereotypical crying phone calls home was something my mom received on a weekly basis. Eventually things became easier but I still missed having a pet. So, one night while me and some roommates were bored, we did as any college student would, and checked on craigslist. I found the most perfect dog, he's almost a year old, and so sweet. I immediately emailed the ad owner and set up a place to meet and try out the dog for a few days. Thats where I am at right now, Brody is curled up right next to me and he's adorable. Hopefully I am able to take care of him and everything works out this week. I'll keep you guys updated with how the process goes, thanks for reading!
